I also play on Xbox and often crash in built up areas, I’m not sure whether it helped or was simply a coincidence but waking around rather than running seemed to cause less crashes but I don’t think there’s any actual solution to the crashing so I just make sure to quick save every few minutes so if the game does crash I don’t lose much.In a couple cases, the crashing wasn't because of the game at all, but because of a faulty Windows DLL. Fallout 4 uses ntdll.dll and KERNEL32.DLL and their use is reported in the Buffout 4 crash log. One user reported his crashing stopped when he updated the ntdll.dll file by removing then reinstalling it.Its comon to crash multiple times near boston its just paart of the experience for the older genwration no fixes sadly. Playing offline and not having too many save files seems to make a slight difference. Downtown Boston is best avoided where possible though, sadly.
